Description
The Faith Village family has a rich heritage. The congregation was established through the cooperative efforts of four congregations in our city in 1954. The original membership of seventy-one grew in the first year to one hundred and ninety. By 1957, the attendance had exceeded the capacity of the first auditorium, and two morning worship services were begun. A new auditorium that would accommodate a growing membership was dedicated January 10, 1960. Countless man hours were personally committed to the construction by members of the Faith Village church in addition to the financial commitment that made the project possible.
